🧑‍🍳 Easy to Cook, Hard to Mess Up

Catalina empanadas come ready to bake or fry— no prep needed.

To Bake:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.  
  2. Place frozen empanadas on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.

To Fry:

  1. Heat oil to 350°F.  
  2. Fry frozen empanadas for 6–8 minutes until crispy and heated through.

– Cook from frozen. Do not thaw.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Are Catalina empanadas fully cooked? 

No — the dough is raw and must be fully cooked before serving. Our fillings are cooked while we make them, but also need to be fully cooked before serving.

Can I air fry them? 

Absolutely! They turn out great from air-fryers. Results will vary depending on the model of air-fryer you have, so you may have to adjust time & temperature a bit. Start with 10 minutes at 375°F. If the dough is not fully cooked and browned, flip them and continue cooking for an additional 3 minutes at a time until fully cooked.

Are there vegetarian options? 

Yes — our Spinach & Cheese empanadas are meat-free and delicious.
