Cheese Croquettes
The classic Catalina blend of cream cheese with Parmesan and Romano cheeses is a favorite with cheese lovers everywhere. Warning: this is not a cheese stick. This is creamy, crunchy, cheesy delight in every bite.
Cooking Instructions
For best results, deep-fry only. Cook from frozen, do not thaw. Cook 4 croquettes at a time in a medium sized sauce pan. Fill sauce pan halfway with your favorite cooking oil. Preheat oil to 350°F. Fry croquettes for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on plate with paper towels for 2 minutes to allow heat to settle. Do not overfill pan, and do not fry more than 4 croquettes at a time. Minimum internal temperature should reach 165°F.Related Products

FAQ
Are Catalina Classic croquettes fully cooked?
No — our croquettes are sold frozen and must be cooked before eating. For best results, deep-fry from frozen following the instructions on the package.
Can I air fry them instead of deep frying?
Our classic croquettes are traditionally made for deep frying. We don’t recommend air frying, but some customers have found success using a light oil spray and 400°F for 8–10 minutes.
What’s the best oil to use?
Use a neutral oil with a high smoke point, like canola or vegetable oil. Preheat oil to 350°F for crispy, golden croquettes.
Are they gluten-free?
No, Catalina croquettes contain wheat ingredients and are not gluten-free.
Are they made in the U.S.?
Yes! All our croquettes are proudly made in Florida using our original Cuban-style recipe.
